a| The role of school and education is currently being reconsidered and discussed, with significant impulses coming from contemporary art, art education and cultural education. An exhibition presented at Kunsthaus Dresden and the Rathausgalerie Munich explored the question which strategies we require to allow for education in aesthetics in a holistic sense and to give young people competence in visual arts and media, as well as the ability to make their own personal judgements.
