a| Nicolas-Joseph Hüllmandel was an Alsatian composer, harpsichordist, pianist and glass harmonica player, born in Strasbourg, making a career in Paris with the aristocratic circles. During the Revolution, he moved to London where he lived until his death. Notwithstanding this, almost his entire corpus of compositions was published id Paris.
