a| Erste Ausgabe des Hauptwerks des Veroneser Juristen und "Academicus Philarmonicus" Polycarp Palermus, der "unterwegs, als er nach Verona reisen wollte, von einigen Bauren todt geschlagen [wurde]" (Jöcher III, 1193). Gerichtet gegen die 1605 posthum herausgekommene Abhandlung "De vera patria C. Plinii Secundi" des Comer Mediziners Paolo Cigalini (gest. 1598), trägt das Werk zahlreiche antike (teils epigraphische) Quellen zusammen. Über ein Jahrhundert später wurde es von Burmann in seinen "Thesaurus antiquitatum Italiae" (Bd. IX, Tl. 8) aufgenommen.
