a| Cornelia Christina van Orsoy was a daughter of Anna Louisa van der Poorten (1742-1800), who married Pieter van Winter in 1780, thus becominging part of the Van Winter family. Pieter van Winter was the son of Nicolaas Simon van Winter and his first wife Johanna Muhl. After Johanna's death Nicolaas had married poet Lucretia van Merken, the couple had later moved from Amsterdam to Leiden. Apperently Lucretia had been fond of Cornelia and had wanted to give her this book.
