a| Cornelis Boscoop was a Dutch composer and organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, so a predecessor of Sweelinck. The 50 Psalm settings are his only surviving work. It was first published in 1562 (now lost?), this modern edition is based on a set of part books printed in Dusseldorf in 1568.
