According to Elinor Frey, who inspected the manuscript in Autumn 2023, it is "not immediately appealing music, perhaps [by] an amateur. ... It’s pretty rare to have two-movement sonatas, they all end with the Rondeau (I would place it as German or French sort of "easy" sonata genre, Abel has some of these).
