a| Henri Liebrecht is a Belgian writer and historian, born in Pera (İstanbul) on 29 July 1884 and died in Brussels on 27 September 1955. He was also a brilliant lecturer. He was editor-in-chief of Le Soir illustré before being entrusted with the management of the literary department of the newspaper Le Soir. With his wife, he lived for several years in Gaillemarde, in the suburb of La Hulpe (Brussels) , in a house called "Cœurs de Bohême".
