Dirck Buysero wrote most of the lyric texts, but is not certain to what extent Jacob van Rijndorp wrote the remainder of the text.
Jacob van Rijndorp was the founder of the Leidse Schouwburg (1705) and manager of the Groote Compagnie, which alternately played the theaters of Leiden and The Hague. See Daphne Meijer, '1705.
