Nathanael Friedrich Kautz was a german evangelical lutheran pastor and song poet at the st. john's church of his birthtown Danzig.
First two sermons on the occasion of celebrating the centenary of 'The Peace of Oliva' when a treaty was signed between Sweden and Poland at Oliva, near Danzig, on 23 April 1660. It marked the end of a war between the two countries.(Olivischen Frieden)
