Nota:
One of two such collections known to have existed, see Rudolf Rasch, 'Opera in a different language', Music and the City (Leuven: Leuven UP, 2013), 48: "Two volumes published by the Amsterdam music publisher Siegfried Markordt ... offer an impression of how the airs sounded in Neyts's and Vitzthumb's respective Dutch-language productions. Each volume comprises 80 engraved pages, which are generally subdivided into four-page sections, each with its own imprint. This indicates that these sections were produced and sold as periodical instalments. The airs are presented in what was a highly customary format, that of the continuo song ... All airs of the first volume, and most of the second, are headed with the name of the opera from which they are borrowed. The second volume also has a number of airs for which no operatic connection is given or known. ... The two volumes strongly concentrate on the operas of Neyts's repertoire of 1768 and borrow largely from the same operas ..."
