Nota:
Deuchar was a goldsmith, an etcher and seal engraver in Edinburgh. He and Alexander Deuchar (his brother?) were appointed Seal-Engravers to the Prince of Wales ca. 1786. His 'Collection of etchings' was made for presentation to his friends.
