- Engraved by "Madame Leclair" born Louise Roussel, whom Leclair married in 1730 after she had helped him prepare the printing of this Opus 2 at the time of his first wife's death, the dancer Marie-Rose Casthanie, in 1728.
Most of the sonates are printed in score; however, some movements with several variations to the same bass have been printed as parts, to save space.
