The oldest published festschrift describing the Holy-Blood Procession of Bruges from 1747. Commission in honour of Maximilien de Lalaing who welcomed KArel of Lorraine into his home. The folding plates show the various blessing or triumphal floats (sometimes in the shape of an orphant, dromedary or ostrich) and the rich costumes worn by the Chinese and Turks, among others. (cit.
