Johann Sebastian Müller was a botanist and engraver from Nuremberg. He signed his works as J.S. Müller until 1760, after that date he went by 'John Miller', as he had moved to London.
Both Johann Christoph Schmidhammer and Martin Engelbrecht were known for publishing prints. They were not necessarily the artists themselves, though in some cases they are.
All pictures in this collection depict old-fashioned scenes and costumes. The collection is from 1852 but the images all look destinctly 18th c.
