Nota:
Arranger Charles Fodor was a Dutch composer and harpsichordist. He was the son of soldier Carolus Fodor (and later violinist) and Maria Elizabeth Messemaekcers, who came from a musical family. The brothers Joseph Fodor and Carolus Antonius Fodor also became musicians. Charles Fodor is the least known of the three brothers. He became a music teacher in Paris, made transcriptions of quartets by Pleyel and symphonies by Joseph Haydn. He himself wrote sonatas and variations (including Air de Tonnelier), but a symphony for large orchestra (Symphonie à grand orchester en re) by him is also known. There are also two concertos for harpsichord by him, one of which he performed in Amsterdam in December 1790. His works were mainly published in Paris and Amsterdam. He probably died in Paris in the last 10 years of the 18th century or early 19th century.
