Nota:
Maus was a Belgian lawyer, writer and art- & music critic. He was an early Wagnerian. He was taught music by his cousin, the painter Anna Boch, and later by Louis Brassin. He was one of the first pilgrims to Bayreuth, and a member of the Bayreuth patronage and the Brussels Wagnerverein.
Author Van der Linden was a Belgian musicologist, librarian and jurist.
