Nota:
Error in 1801 Wright Edition: Title pages in this convolute mention all editions of the Sonatas as Op. 1, but actually it is a binding of all of Corelli's Sonate da Chiesa and da camera, Opp. 1, 2, 3, and 4, originally published in Rome between 1681 and 1694.
The different part books of this convolute contain each a beautiful golden a coat of arms on the back cover, including the heraldic motto "Finem Respice" (Consider the End). The 1st violin part (07E23b) contains a beautiful engraved portrait of Corelli (Arcangelus Corellius) designed by H. Howard and engraved by Vander Gucht.
