Nota:
Willem Ogier, also Guilliam Ogier, (1618-1689) was a southern Dutch schoolmaster, rhetorician and playwright. Although sometimes referred to as a poet, Ogier was of humble origins and his stage-oriented work is characterised by a colourful Flemish vernacular. He is considered one of the most important playwrights of the Southern Netherlands of the 17th century.
